Satellite engineers at the forum for unmanned systems development
RESHETNEV company (under ROSCOMOS State Corporation umbrella) has taken part in the International Forum “Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future” held in Moscow from August 7 to 17.
The Forum has become an authoritative platform for discussing the development of new transport technologies and services. The event brought together representatives of the scientific community, engineers, entrepreneurs, experts and authorities.
An exhibition of unmanned, aviation and robotic systems was arranged as part of the business program. The exhibition was visited by Andrey Nikitin, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, and Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. RESHETNEV company presented the Express-AM5 and Express-RV satellites at the exhibition. Mikhail Valov, the Chief Designer of the company, worked at the stand.
RS-30M user terminal was also tested during the forum. This device produced by the RESHETNEV engineers was used for the demonstration of the new domestic system for drone control. The terminal provided a satellite link for transmitting high-definition video data. An aircraft control system featuring the development of RESHETNEV engineers was presented by the team of the St. Petersburg State University of Telecommunications named after Prof. M.A. Bonch-Bruevich.
