Yet another successful launch

On March 16th at 1:50 p.m. (Moscow time), the Russian Aerospace Forces successfully launched the ANGARA-1.2 small-lift launch vehicle from the National Defense Test Cosmodrome (Plesetsk Cosmodrome) in the Arkhangelsk Region with the satellites onboard in behalf of Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Russian MoD, the launch of ANGARA-1.2 and injection of the spacecraft into the designed orbit went on as planned. After the launch, the automated ground control complex of the Main Test Space Center named after German Titov began tracking the ANGARA-1.2 small-lift launch vehicle.

At the estimated time, the satellites were injected into target orbits and taken over for control by Russian Aerospace Forces ground assets.

A stable telemetry link with the satellites has been established and maintained while their onboard systems are operating normally.
