RESHETNEV implements new concepts in satellite manufacturing within the framework of SPHERA federal program – a program that aims at the comprehensive development of satellite information technologies.

One of SPHERA’s main lines is building MARATHON IoT data relaying satellite system which is being fully manufactured by RESHETNEV. The Company’s goal is to form a satellite constellation of 264 satellites in a quick and efficient manner, thus our experts develop large-scale production opportunities. We strive to achieve the ideal ratio of time costs and labor intensity, which is why we try out different solutions.

Dedicated areas for small MARATHON satellites components flow-production line as well as for the satellites assembly and testing have already been allocated at RESHETNEV’s premises.

By transitioning to electronic document management and setting up a concurrent design workspace, we optimized and accelerated the work process.

Due to the development of the large-scale manufacturing approach for MARATHON IoT project, RESHETNEV’s efficiency in the future projects is going to increase, which will help to achieve expansion of the national orbital constellation in the shortest possible time.
