RESHETNEV experts have mastered a technique of manufacturing large foldable reflector with advanced deployment system.
RESHETNEV team have manufactured and tested a model of 12 meter umbrella shaped reflector. Special technique of laying the mesh allowed to minimize the structure dimensions in launch configuration and ensure efficient placement of antennas under the launch vehicle fairing. Only one drive is required to extend the spokes and deploy the structure, which significantly reduced the reflector weight.
