Latest developments for manned space missions

RESHETNEV company has developed and manufactured two flight models of antenna systems to be employed on the advanced manned transportation spacecraft. They will ensure the spacecraft communication with mission control center in various frequency bands.

Each antenna system features an antenna with a reflector of 940 mm in diameter, mechanical and electrical units, temperature sensors, angular sensor, as well as hold-down and deployment mechanisms.

After ground test of the models, both antenna systems were delivered to the customer – S. P. Korolev Rocket and Space Corporation "Energia".

Manufacturing space antennas is one of RESHETENV company’s core capabilities. Such developments are in high demand in Russia. Thus, one of the company's antenna systems was previously manufactured for the domestic segment of the International Space Station.
