RESHETNEV Company welcomes the addition of a new workstation for 3D measurement of thermal deformations on antenna reflector surfaces. The equipment includes a laser with an associated control panel, a server rack, and a video camera that records activity inside the thermal-vacuum chamber through a viewport.
The Design and Technology Institute of Scientific Instrumentation (RAS Siberian Branch) has developed a new laser system for RESHETNEV. Tested on antenna equipment, the system achieves sub-micron precision (≤ 1 micron) in measuring reflector geometric profiles. The key to such accuracy lies in the laser’s pulsed mode: ultra-short flashes mean no surface heating inside the thermal-vacuum chamber, eliminating measurement interference.
Precise measurements ensure high-quality reflector surfaces, while geometry retention in space guarantees antenna performance – directly affecting communication service quality.
