RESHETNEV (a ROSCOSMOS company) holds cooperation talks with World-Class Research Center “Onboard Payload” Сonsortium.

In a step toward strengthening national capabilities in spaceborne instrumentation, RESHETNEV Company hosted a delegation from the World‑Class Research Center “Onboard Payload” Consortium, launched in 2026. The Consortium unites key institutions — the Russian Academy of Sciences Siberian Branch Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center, Russian Technological University MIREA, Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology, Siberian Federal University, and ITMO University.

The Consortium’s mission is to develop fundamentally new components for spacecraft, enable their rapid integration into production, and reduce both the mass and manufacturing lead times of on‑board equipment.

During the site visit, scientists were briefed on the enterprise’s production capabilities, including assembly and testing of antenna systems and spacecraft payloads. Representatives from the Zheleznogorsk satellite manufacturing team and the Consortium discussed potential areas of collaboration to advance these technological goals.

As an industrial partner of the World Class Research Center “Onboard Payload”, RESHETNEV will be responsible for defining technical requirements for science intensive developments, participating in the testing of new onboard equipment components, and integrating them into satellite manufacturing.

“We have presented our capabilities and upcoming research programmes,” said Andrey Leksikov, Project Manager of the WCRC “On Board Payload”. “The purpose of this visit was to align our planned activities with the real needs of JSC Reshetnev.”
