Four fixed antenna posts have been installed at the premises of Russian Satellite Communications Company located in Zheleznogorsk. These antenna posts are part of the ground communication complex serving to provide internet access for users via satellite links.
Each antenna post includes a 7.5 m antenna, a positioner for pointing the antenna at the satellite, as well as technical means and specialized software for monitoring and controlling the equipment operation.
The antenna posts will track the EXPRESS-RV satellite trajectory in the high elliptical orbit.
EXPRESS-RV satellite system manufacturing lies within the framework of Cosmos National Project aimed at provision of broadband Internet access services to Russian users.
