EXPRESS-RV satellites reflectors
RESHETNEV company engineers are producing payload components for one of the SPHERE federal program new communication satellite.
Passive repeating equipment and EXPRESS-RV antennas are being manufactured by RESHETNEV. The equipment is produced using domestic materials.
RESHETNEV experts use the first reflector samples for on-ground development of the technical solutions accepted at the designing stage of EXPRESS-RV space complex satellites. The quality of communication services provided by the new system will depend on achieving the stated specifications. The system’s satellite constellation will consist of four satellites operating at high elliptical orbit.
Each EXPRESS-RV satellite payload shall have 12 Ku-band antennas ensuring broadband Internet. The antennas will be mounted on mechanisms units to enable real-time monitoring of the 12 assigned service areas.
EXPRESS-RV communication satellite system by RESHETNEV will ensure broadband Internet over the entire territory of Russia, particularly, Far North and North Pole regions including the Arctic region.
