RESHETNEV company (under ROSCOSMOS State Corporation umbrella) has completed the works for the LUNA-RESURS-1 mission.
Engineering and flight models of the electromechanic device were produced at RESHETNEV. The flight model is going to be used in the Moon orbiting vehicle LUNA-26 to ensure rotation of the highly directional antenna which is dedicated for research data transmission to Earth.
The works have been conducted as per the contract with JSC NPO Lavochkin. Moscow region’s enterprise is the lead contractor of the research project and the builder of the orbiting vehicle LUNA-26 which shall be the first part in the LUNA-RESURS-1 mission.
It is designed to conduct remote survey of the Earth's natural satellite surface, as well as to test a radio link with a future landing station that will land on Moon surface.
