Satellite onboard subsystems motion control
RESHETNEV company experts (under ROSCOSMOS State Corporation umbrella) are working on solar arrays and antennas universal deployment system.
2025 marked finalization of another milestone in the deployment system project: RESHETNEV engineers have developed and tested the new generation electromechanical devices, which improve antennas and solar arrays deployment logic. Experimental samples of power and wireless sensors, electric motors, and actuators have been tested independently and as part of onboard subsystems.
Motion control will make it possible to apply exactly the algorithm for deploying large-size structures that is optimally suited for a particular satellite. This can be a sequential, synchronous, or combined algorithm. This way, each time when working on a new satellite, engineers will no longer need to search for individual solutions for the deployment system design.
