December, 15 marks ten years since the launch of YAMAL-401 satellite built by the RESHETNEV company.
The spacecraft was built by the Siberian enterprise for Russian Satellite Communications Company.
YAMAL-401 uses the in-house heavy class EXPRESS-2000 platform and features 53 C- and Ku-band transponders providing communication services.
It was launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome on December 15, 2014.
Stationed in 90° East, the satellite is part of the RSCC constellation providing communication, internet access and data relay over the territory of Russia.
