Satellites built by RESHETNEV company aid in overcoming the digital divide, making communication services available to millions nationwide.
Eighty remote communities around Russia were connected to communication services and the Internet over the past year, thanks to EXPRESS 103, EXPRESS AM5 and EXPRESS AMU7 satellites built by RESHETNEV company.
By end of this year, 50 more settlements located in hard-to-reach areas of the country are to be connected to satellite services in the frame of the Federal program for elimination of digital divide.
As of now, EXPRESS satellites provide communication and Internet services to three thousand communities with a combined population of two million people.
