Pre-test tuning of the mobile suite

Mobile radiation oncology suite developed by RESHETNEV company engineers

For three years the satellite enterprise’s team was hard at work developing cancer treatment equipment in a partnership with Tomsk Polytechnic University and Cancer Research Institute (a subdivision of Tomsk National Research Medical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences).

As project initiator and primary contractor, RESHETNEV company was responsible for the overall concept and design. Our expert team developed the design and engineering documentation for the project, and built a number of suite components, among them a positioner for smooth and accurate beam pointing.

The suite utilizes an induction accelerator technology developed by the scientific team at Tomsk Polytechnic University.

The pilot suite model built at RESHETNEV is currently undergoing radiation tests at a facility in Tomsk under close supervision of the medical community.

At the same time, the Zheleznogorsk enterprise is in the final stages of manufacturing the second test model of the suite. The company plans to continue its endeavor into cancer treatment equipment serially.
